With the departure of Theirry Piédoie to the Mas de la Dragonette in Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue, his former second, Robin Mayen is at the controls of this small, intimate bistro. There's some charm in the plain parquet and stone, as there is in the friendly welcome. The carte is equally modest but focused on seasonal products well cooked at easily digestible prices. Sardines escabèche, grilled loup filet; artichoke barigoule; boar ragout with Rhone wine; gourmet desserts honoring seasonal fruit - roasted pear and matching sorbet; fine tart of carmelized apples and house ice cream. Regional wines are offered by the bottle, glass, or carafe at very reasonable prices.
