Cave Croisette |
|
This wine bistro uncorks its bottle at the head of the Rue d'Antibes, close to the freeway. Frédéric Roggemans has created a convivial wine universe which complements his Cave du Marche on Place Forville. Tapas; Iberian ham; house foie gras; beef carpaccio with olive oil; tomato tartine; mozzarella and Serrano ham; goat-cheese salad; and fruity sweets from Alain Millat are alive and well. Small and large producers are represented at prices ranging from 3 to 13,000 Euros per bottle. The feminine welcome is friendly and competent at noon and, on the sunny terrace, we take an oenological break "off" Cannes. |
