Purchased in 2009 by the Perrin family, proprietors of the celebrated Beaucastel estate in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, the lovely table with terrace on the village square continues to evolve. New chef Laurent Deconinck has fine credentials and is strong on pairings, which can be found on a series of menus. Spring asparagus in vinagrette; hazelnuts and slices of foie gras; bar with barigoule jus; risotto with grated lemon; spice bread millefeuille.... Fragrant dishes, professional and relaxed service, and a beautiful vintner's cellar which doesn't turn its nose up at small growers while collecting the best of the Rhone valley.
