Le Siam  

This discreet restaurant is the very image of Thailand, tucked away under the leaves of a beautiful garden. Chef Wiset Kumsaen comes from Bangkok, where he was cook for the royal family, and the food shows it. Beignets are ennobled with crab claws; a truly tender beef steak enriches the Thai salad with fresh mint; lychees crown the red duck curry.... Prices are a little higher than most Asian restaurants but far from excessive. Service is smiling, serene, and efficient.
