As the sign indicates, here they speak, cook, and think Southwest. Solange and Alain Sabatier offer generous dishes, smiles, and Gascon courage. Each day the chalkboard shows four meat dishes, two or three fish, cooked by Alain, who doesn't hesitate to send out foie gras, magret, confit or cassoulet. Better than a local place, this is a restaurant for gatherings of friends that you hear about by word of mouth. The well-priced wines have character, the tabs average 30 Euros, and house gentility is constant, even is service is sometimes forgetful.
