La Cantinetta  

This is a great little trattoria well situated at the bottom of the Cours Julien and loved by a well-to-do clientele. Pierre-Antoine Denis, the chef, has had the good sense to install an isophonic ceiling to cut down on the noise. On the plate it's classic italian dishes (antipasti, pappardelle in mushroom-parsley sauce; linguine carbonara; tuna à l'orange...) that make us say "bravo!" A touch of modernity in the service and the plate (without pretension). Reservations strongly - no really - strongly recommended.
