Fuchs  

Fuchs left its historic address on Rue des Commercants several seasons back and relocated in this nearby two-storey bistrot. Fuchs "by" Olivier Fuchs, thus a family story and regional cuisine consistently updated. Mama Renée has even come back to "lend a hand" and recounts some recipes in her inimitable way: Provençal cuttlefish à la artichoke barigoule or fried lamb. It's good and generous from the lobster ravioles and small crab broth to the pied et paquets, grilled fish, stuffed lamb and vegetables gratin. The tabs are not too Tropezian; some service faults but also truly festive moments for this likeable and rejuvenated bistro. As for Provence vintages from the prime domains on the gulf - you can find them too, across the street at La Cave d'Olivier Fuchs (06.14.67.06.77).
