Toile Blanche  

At Toile Blanche we find modern comforts, zen touches, and art: canvases, objects, sculpture, photos.... For six years, Daniel and Nadine Leroy and their children, Gregory, Gilles, and Nicolas have offered a different kind of welcome by searching the world for art during the off season. In summer they search the markets, cook (Nicolas and Gregory) and serve (Gilles) a delightful menu for 25 places on the terrace under the avocado tree. Fish soup and crème de pastis; Saint-Jacques nuggets and marinated cucumbers; mini-tartine of crab, leek, and ginger; daurade filet and eggplant puree; pain perdu with strawberries and sorbet... show ideas and taste - not art for art's sake. Nature is the true luxury here.
