Good family cooking still exists! Better yet, it lives again at this "historic" address of Old Nice, created in 1926 by Palmyre Moni, today gone to the paradise that waits for all culinary "mamas". For the last two seasons Vincent Verneveaux and Philippe Terranova have brought a refreshing experience to the room. Twenty five places, lovely decor, and even a food-products corner - the new owners have had the good sense to change nothing of the spirit, the dishes, or the prices. Vincent's menus change every two weeks and include authentic dishes marked up on the mirror. Marinated herring; shredded sardines with eggplant caviar; beef jowl; Niçois tripes; clafoutis with cinnamon apples.... Some Var wines can be found in the cellar at humble prices. Smiling welcome.
