Open for about a year, this restaurant holds its own at the top of the Rue du Suquet. It's provisioned each day by the family fish store run by the parents of Jennifer Brazao. Christophe Aissa serves fresh and wild fish cooked as simple as can be. Loup, daurade, chapon... but also oysters, shrimp, crab, lobster, and langoustes. The filets are cooked in the plate; the whole fish in the oven. Both are served with a drizzle of olive oil. Today's catch live, at salty prices ŕ la carte but with two wise menus as well. Charming welcome and a small terrace for this unexpected small table in a quarter where the restaurants hustle. |
