In the rear courtyard you could almost believe you were in Greece. Inside you find an improbable blend of train-station benches, formica tables, and movie-house chairs. A light noon meal might include delicious chicken fricassee with ginger studded with fresh herbs; a baked vegetable tartar ratatouille on a bed of carmelized endives. At night we get Italian specialities, fried foods, and Provençal charcuteries direct from La Botte. Nothing but goodness and freshness, and for almost nothing.
