Le Mas de Tourteron  

Tucked away in the foothills of the Vaucluse, this restored country farm deploys a seductive serenity. Elisabeth Bourgeois confirms the origins of her ingredients with great rigor. Like the great chefs, she works with her own vegetables, including several varieties of tomatoes, zucchini flowers, fresh herbs, etc. The cuisine remains very much Provençal inspired. The locals congregate here because Elisabeth's care and imagination are concentrated on the dishes that have made her famous. The house pastries remain one of the strong points. The wine card has sought diversity for some years, bringing together honorable Rhone valley and Luberon wines.
