La Bastide de Tourtour(Restaurant "L'Empreinte")  

You can feel the spirit of the seigneur of Tourtour in this country house, built in the 1960s and embellished over the seasons by Pascal Loddo. The 4-hectare park includes pine, olive, and oleander trees, as well as a water park, and activities are plentiful. Hervé Gely offers a short carte focused on the product: fine tarte pissaladière style and prawn brochette with rosemary; pan-fried foie gras with vegetables and fruit; fennel barigoule-style and tomatoes confit; braised whole veal jowl and pan-fried girolles; citrus with honey-cinnamon infusion, lemon sorbet.... Some good local domains go well with these preparations. It's almost the chateau life, but at tamer prices and with touching courtesy.
