Leroy's Kfé  

Change on the sign and change of era. The old Fuchs, historic village address opened in 1952 and taken over three years ago by Christophe Leroy has become a part of the Leroy's Kfé collection of this entrepreneurial chef (Marrakech, Fès, Saint-Martin). Old-time Tropezians are ticked but the Provençal decor remains, if a bit updated, and a second dining room has been added one flight up. The local vintages are available with a cuisine which is a blend of local humor and fun ideas: pissaldière; cheese burger; stuffed sardines; artichoke barigoule; king crab salad; beef tartar frites; grilled loup; and tarte Tropezian. There are some faults in the cooking and the service to mar this trendy re-look. As we went to press it was still in question whether there would be something like the Table du Marché on Rue Allard.
